CBCT 3D X-ray Imaging
Three-dimensional imaging that shows bone, nerves and sinuses — the detail implant and surgical planning needs. Helps dentists spot hidden root fractures, map nerve pathways, and plan precise dental implants or oral surgeries.
Digital Impressions with an Oral Scanner
Digital Oral Scanners provide superior accuracy, greater patient comfort, and instant digital workflows compared to traditional alginate impressions. Scanners use a small wand instead of filling the mouth with goopy, chemical-tasting putty, eliminating bulky metal or plastic trays prevents the triggering of gag reflexes and reduces patient anxiety.
AI-Assisted X-ray Analysis
For chairside diagnostic assistance we use special AI (artificial intelligence) software to instantly analyze dental X-rays. The AI acts as a second set of eyes, reducing missed diagnoses. Catching small problems sooner means patients can receive less invasive and less costly treatments before emergencies happen.

I’ve been coming to Dental Options for the past 10 years and they never disappoint! The dentists are always super knowledgeable and kind, the hygienists are very personable and the front desk is very accommodating and friendly. About 8 years ago, I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled here and I remember it being a delightful experience despite the pain afterwards lol. They made sure I was comfortable and followed up with my care. On today’s visit, I had the pleasure of meeting the hygienist, Lina and dentist, Dr. Gegati. Dr. Carolina Ferreira is exceptional. She is very knowledgeable, extremely kind, and does an excellent job at explaining procedures to help with my dental anxiety. She also has like magic hands because my mouth/teeth are never sore, even after a crown procedure and multiple fillings. I hope she never leaves this practice! The dental hygienist that worked with me last time was also amazing. Her name escapes me right now, but I’ll be back to update this once I get it.

I was happy with my visit. Dentist was knowledgeable and very helpful, cleaning was good and fast, everything went smoothly and very fast. Best thing they did not try to sell me on treatments I did not need or want. Other dentists in the area have added all this additional stuff to the cleaning that I did not ask for and not covered by my insurance. Very happy this clinic is not doing the same.

Where is Dental Options located?
We have two convenient locations: 2999 NE 191 St #804, Aventura, FL 33180, and 13160 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami, FL 33181.
What are your office hours?
In Aventura we are open 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday. In North Miami we are open 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Both offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Early and evening appointments are available. You may contact us 24/7 via our answering service at each office phone number.
What does the $79 new patient special include?
The $79 new patient special covers your initial exam, digital X-rays and a cleaning.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We accept most PPO plans, HMO and DMO plans, and we also see fee-for-service patients — Aetna, Cigna, Delta, Guardian, Humana, Metlife, UnitedHealthcare, Florida Blue and around a dozen more are listed in full in the insurance section on this page. If yours is not there, call our Aventura office on (305) 466-1804 or our North Miami office on (305) 892-2960 and we will check your coverage before treatment starts.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
We offer DENTALCARD, a membership discount plan and we work with four financing providers — Cherry, Sunbit, Alphaeon and CareCredit — so a treatment plan can be spread over time instead of paid all at once.
Will I be referred somewhere else for specialist treatment?
In most cases, no. We have in-house specialists, so specialist treatment happens here with our own dental Specialist (Endodontist, Periodontist, Oral Surgeon, Implantologist, Orthodontist) instead of a referral across town.
I am nervous about dental treatment — is there anything to make it easier?
Yes. We offer nitrous oxide, and our team is used to treating patients who find dental visits difficult. Tell the front desk when you book and we will allow the time for it.
What technology do you use?
We use CBCT 3D X-ray imaging, digital impressions taken with an oral scanner, and — for chairside diagnostic assistance — special AI (artificial intelligence) software that instantly analyzes dental X-rays.
